The most famous couple in Hollywood are no strangers to luxury yacht hire. Pitt and Jolie recently rented out a yacht in Cannes during the 2007 film festival in order to protect their privacy. Pitt and Jolie are one of Hollywod’s super couples and have been dubbed ‘Brangelina’ and rumours have been printed in the tabloids that they may be purchasing their own super yacht. Although they often opt for luxury yacht hire when they travel, it’s been said that the couple are reportedly looking at buying a 240 foot-long luxury yacht. The Sun newspaper has said the cost of the yacht could be a whopping £70 million ($137 million). Luxury yacht hire is all the rage, but if rumour is right, this yacht is more of an ocean liner than a yacht.

Helicopters and Submarines

The luxury yacht is said to come with six en-suite bathrooms with marble and gold fittings, a swimming pool, full gym and helicopter pad. One feature you would never get on any luxury yacht hire vacation is your own submarine, but reports have suggested the boat will feature a small submarine allowing guests to explore the sea up to a depth of 1,000 feet. It’s the stuff of James Bond movies. One of the bonuses of luxury yacht hire is the privacy and sense of escape it offers, but no matter how big the ocean, it’s hard to see how Pitt and Jolie will escape the paparazzi in such a monstrously extravagant ship.
