Deck layout & equipment




Bare Necessities has a large centre cockpit with two fold out cockpit tables and a removable canopy to protect from sun, wind or rain if necessary.  There are four repeater computer screens mounted in the cockpit showing chart and instrument information, giving guests the opportunity to keep up to speed with all that is going on.

 

She has twin steering positions aft of the seating cockpit equipped with four computer screens giving the helms man all the information they should need.  There is also additional seating on the aft deck.  Surrounding the deck Bare Necessities is fitted with one meter high stanchions giving safety and reassurance to guests whilst out sailing.  

 

Her 108 ft tall eye catching rig is constantly changing colour.  Fitted with a fully battened mainsail to optimise performance.  Her sails are Carbon and Vectran.  She has large electric winches throughout to make sail trimming easy and has twin windlass capstans on the foredeck.  

 

Mounted on a custom built carbon structure is the vessel’s tender.  A Zodiac Pro RIB with a 4-Stroke 50hp Yamaha engine.

 

On the fore deck you will find a Topper Topaz, complete with standard and racing sails.
